Help Kerron Scott's Track Journey Abroad

My name is Kerron W. Scott, and I'm the son of Kizzie Scott. I'm a Senior at Calhoun County High School, and during my time here. I have been on the honor roll and maintained good grades while playing three different sports: football, basketball, and track. I have received an offer from Rome City Institute in Rome, Italy, to run track. My signing day will be Monday, May 13, 2024, at 9:30 am. I have been granted the opportunity of a lifetime to become a student-athlete in another country, which can take me to the next level: the Olympics. I also will be representing my school and community. I'm asking for support from the community as I travel so far away from my family, and I don't want it to be a strain on my mother. I have competed at the 2022 National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championship (Sacramento, CA). I also competed at the 2023 USATF Region 4 Junior Olympic Track & Field Championship (Tampa, FL) and performed exceptionally well. I have received several awards, such as the 2X Return Specialist Most Valuable Award (Football); I was MVP in 2019 (Football). I have also received a coach's award: Co-Offensive Player of the Year (Basketball), (2X) 4x100 boys State champion, and All-State Boys 200-meter dash, I was MVP in 2023 for track and field.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to pursue my studies and athletics in a challenging and competitive environment. I am eager to contribute to the school's academic and athletic programs, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you for considering my request and for your potential support. Your assistance would mean the world to me and my family.
