Kerri has been my daycare provider for the last two years, and in that time, she has become so much more than just someone who cares for my child—she is family. Kerri runs an in-home daycare and has dedicated over 30 years to teaching and supporting children, especially those with behavioral challenges and special needs. My own child, who is autistic, has thrived under her care. Her patience, kindness, and understanding have touched so many families in our community.

Last night, tragedy struck when Kerri's home caught fire. Everything was lost—her home, her daycare, and all her belongings. She is currently in the ICU out of town, battling the effects of smoke inhalation on top of her severe asthma. Thankfully, her three dogs survived, but Kerri now faces the overwhelming task of rebuilding her life from scratch. Just a few months ago, she survived a life-threatening asthma attack, and it feels like she just can't catch a break.

Kerri needs help with everything: medical bills, new daycare supplies, clothing, cribs, cots, and a place to stay. She has always been the first to help others in need, and now it's our turn to support her. Any help you can give is deeply appreciated.
