Help Kerri fight cancer!!

Hi, my name is Lauren and myself and so many of friends are trying to help raise money for Kerri fight against cancer.

Kerri and I have been friends for over 13 years. We met when we were both pregnant with our first babies. As, we always say we didn't really have a choice to be friends since our husbands were already the best of friends!! Over the years, Kerri and I have shared so many great memories from the Buck Christmas parties to the birth of all 4 of our children to the many of many birthday parties and holiday parties and random get togethers. Our children have grown up together and are the best of friends, so much so Robert and Shane still share the same couch cushion when ever they hang out together. We have been through the good times and the bad times together. Our friendship has grown over the years from friends to family.

Kerri was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer over 2 years ago. Kerri received this devastating news when she was pregnant with her fourth baby. A cancer diagnoses is scary enough but to receive this news when being pregnant is beyond scary. Kerri would not only have to fight for her life, she have to fight for her baby's life too. Kerri started chemo therapy while still being pregnant then the decision was made to delivery her baby early. Once Alex was born happy and healthy, Kerri knew it was time for her to now fight for her life. Kerri fought hard and long. It was the hardest fight of her life from countless doctors appointments to chemo therapy to surgery to countless more doctors appointment to bloodwork to scans to more surgeries and complications to sleepless nights. This fight was not easy but her heart and strength all paid off when she was given the news that she was CANCER FREE. Kerri along with her family and friends could now breathe a sign of relief and Kerri could start enjoying her life again as a wife, as a mother of four beautiful children and a friend.

Unfortunately, alittle over 2 weeks ago, Kerri received the most devstating news that her cancer had come back. The doctors found a brain tumor and Kerri would need emergency brain surgery. This news was Kerri's biggest fear along with her family and friends biggest fears. The brain surgery went well but any kind of brain surgery comes with it own difficulties and side affects. Kerri has made progress since her surgery but still have a long road of recovery ahead. It is still not clear what Kerri's next steps will be but we all know it is going to be another tough fight.

So, it is time for us as Kerri's friends and family to fight along side of her and try to relieve some of the stress that her and Bob will have to enure. We want Kerri to be able to focus on fighting cancer again with Bob by her side and not have to worry about anything else but kicking cancer's ass again!! Kerri has been there for me through some of the worse times in my life. Even when she was fighting for her life, she still took the time to check and make sure I was ok. I wish I could take her cancer from her and fight this fight for her but unfortunately I can't so I will do everything I can possible to help in everyway, because I know Kerri and Bob would do the same for me and my family.
