Kerem is one of the best skateboarders in the Turkish skateboarding scene. He has constantly pushed himself further, both as a skater and as a filmmaker over the past years, which has brought a very positive impact on the scene and skate community in Turkey.
Unfortunately on January 21st he tore his ACL while skating and has significant damage with his MCL too. These are crucial ligaments which require surgery, as they are unable to heal on their own.
When seen by the doctor, he was also informed that his kneecaps were underdeveloped because he was an early walker as a toddler.
Now he has to have surgery and extensive physiotherapy to get back on his board but since he does not have insurance and the skateboarding officials and organisations in Turkey will not cover the costs of this emergency operation, we as his friends have stepped in to start this fundraising campaign to help him cover his medical bills.
It would be greatly appreciated if you were able to donate to Kerem’s knee surgery, so he can start the process of recovery. 21 ocakta yaşadığı bir sakatlık sonucu Ön Çapraz bağını kopardı,yan çapraz bağlarını zedeledi.
Doktora gözükmeye gittiğinde diz kapaklarında anatomik olarak doğuştan gelen bir sorun olduğunu öğrenmesiyle birlikte
tekrardan kaykay kaymaya ve burdaki kaykay kültürüne katkıda bulunmaya devam edebilmesi için ameliyat ve fizik tedavi olması gerekiyor ancak sigortası olmadığı ve burda sporun yetkilileri masraflarını karşılayamadığı için biz arkadaşları bu fonu açmaya karar verdik.
