Help Kephart Family Cope thru Major Accident

Keith and Nancy Kephart along with their youngest son, Nathaniel and his wife, Wendy, left home Sunday morning, June 2nd, to go out in their Bible ministry work.  Just a couple miles from home they were hit head on and rolled by a drunk driver who crossed over into their lane.  Everyone was injured and taken to the hospital.  Wendy was airlifted to the hospital and went into emergency surgery for a collapsed lung, shattered liver and other injuries, Keith had fractures and breaks from head to ankles and an unseen tear in the aorta, Nancy had fractures and breaks in both legs and Nathaniel had a fracture in one vertebrae.  Sadly, Keith passed away on Monday evening after the aorta ruptured.  Wendy is still in ICU in serious condition and being kept sedated.  We pray for the best possible outcome for her.

Keith and Nancy have 4 children, all married and 7 grandchildren with another on the way.  The family has been at the hospital every day as they see to the needs and care for and support each other.   This is a strong family of self-employed individuals who are also unable to work now and will continue on reduced time for work as they help Nancy thru rehab, support Nathaniel as he lives at the hospital at Wendy's bedside and take care of the arrangements for the loss of their father, Keith.

This has been a heartbreaking event that has shocked friends and family.  And it will continue to affect this family financially for the weeks and months to come.   We appreciate all you can do to support them in this time of need to assist with the medical bills, funeral expenses and costs of daily living.  Thank you for your help.

I have known and loved this dear family for about 30 years.  I was present when their 2 younger sons were born and have watched them all grow thru the years.  My heart aches for all they are experiencing, so I share this in hopes we can all help them as they face this journey together.

Kaeli Saunders, Keith and Nancy’s daughter, will be withdrawing the funds and using them to cover the expenses for the family.
