Help Kenzo's Journey to Healing in Stanford, CA

Meet the younger brother of Railyn Bella and Lansen Reese: Kenzo Eliseo. This strong little fighter was born on December 10, 2024. At just 7 weeks, he has spent most of his time in the hospital - about 4 weeks.

He has been battling a number of health conditions such as jaundice, anemia, and a hernia. His anemia is improving, and he will need to undergo surgery to correct the hernia.

Among the many health concerns, the most prominent is his liver, which may be the cause of his jaundice. The size of his liver is 17.7 cm, which doctors say is bigger than that of a teenager.

Kenzo has endured many blood draws and multiple tests as the doctors at the Kapiolani Hospital work tirelessly to find a diagnosis and proper treatment for him. They have been consulting with the pediatric gastroenterologist specialists at Stanford Medical Center in California.

The specialists at Stanford were initially going to wait until the end of February to see him when they do their bi-annual visit to Hawaii to check on their former patients; however, they advised they would now like to see Kenzo sooner, as early as next week in California.

This brings us to the reason why we are asking for help. Dad, Lance, and Mom, Leinell, may be out of work for an extended period of time as they travel to California to be with Kenzo. They need financial assistance not only for Kenzo’s medical bills but also for flights, room & board, and bills to maintain their rent and utilities here in Hawaii.

Through all the poking and prodding he has been through, Kenzo remains a calm and sweet loving baby. We are hoping and praying to find the right treatments for him as soon as possible.

Even if you’re not able to contribute monetarily, sharing Kenzo’s story on any social media platform is more than enough. We thank you in advance for all your help!
