Heyy! My name is Kenzie Hornsby, and I have been presented with the honor and privilege of going to Quito, Ecuador for my child life practicum in March 2026!

If you know me, you know I’ve always had a heart for kiddos. Growing up, I used to always play with the little ones at all the family reunions instead of hanging out with kids my own age. In high school, I served in the nursery at my church for years. In undergrad, I led our Dance Marathon program to raise over $35,000 for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Now, as a grad student at Auburn, I get to work with 4 year olds at the Auburn University Early Learning Center every day and am pursuing a master’s in child life so that I can become a Certified Child Life Specialist.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to Quito, Ecuador with SIFAT and Auburn University to provide child life services in a week-long clinic to children and families (some whom have never been to the doctor before). While I am so excited for this practicum, it does cost a pretty penny.

I have dedicated the last 4 years of my life to raising funds for children in the Children’s Miracle Network with your help. Now, I am asking you to help me raise funds to help further my education and training so that I can continue pursuing my love for helping kiddos. Every single penny helps!

I’m not used to asking for money for myself so this is a bit out of my comfort zone… but it would mean the world to me to have your support.
