Our dog Kenzie is our everything. We recently lost our other two dogs to old age and cancer, and we are heartbroken. Kenzie is young, vibrant, and a total joy, so we were saddened and frightened when she had a seizure out of nowhere. A couple of months later, she started to have seizures back to back. She was hospitalized for a few days, and we got our happy dog back. Kenzie was seizure free for five months, but yesterday she started to have back to back seizures again. We took her to the hospital in the middle of the night and waited hours. When they finally gave us an estimate for her care, we were upset because it was more than we can afford, and we didn't know how we would come up with that sum of money in the middle of the night. We were forced to bring Kenzie home with some special medicine, but the medicine is not working. Kenzie needs to be in the hospital. We're trying everything we can think of to come up with the money, like selling my wedding dress and my great grandmother's china, but it's not working out fast enough. Kenzie needs to be back in the hospital today. We're asking that people who love us, love Kenzie, or just love dogs to help us get Kenzie into the hospital as soon as possible.
