Help Kenzie Get Justice & Support Her BF’s Cancer Fight

Hi, my name is Mackenzie, and many of you may have seen my story on TikTok. Thank you to everyone who’s shared, commented, or supported us. Your kindness means more than you know.

Right now, I’m facing a serious legal situation that I’ve been open about from the beginning—but I need help to keep fighting it the right way.

I’ve been charged with possessing stolen property, but the truth is: I didn’t know the vehicle I bought was stolen. I still have the proof—a full paper trail including a Carfax report, CPIC check, bill of sale, ID from the seller, chat history, and proof of e-transfer payment. I did everything I was supposed to do. I acted in good faith.

Then things got worse.

Due to a mistaken release after my initial arrest, I was suddenly painted as someone who was running from the law—even though that was completely out of my control. I didn’t break out of custody. I didn’t run. I was released by mistake—and once I realized what happened, I made it clear that I wanted to turn myself in the right way. But I want to do it with a lawyer who can protect me.

And now, a recent news article has confirmed everything I’ve been saying—someone else came forward and admitted they were involved with the release documentation and that I had nothing to do with it. That’s huge. But I still have to fight this in court, and I can’t do it alone.

At the same time, the person I love most—David, my boyfriend—is battling cancer. Watching him go through treatment while I try to clear my name has been heartbreaking and overwhelming. We’re trying to survive this together, but we’re stretched to our limit.
