Hi my name kenzie,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out today with a heavy heart to share what has happened recently in our lives and to ask for your support. On November 13th, our world turned upside down when my electric scooter, which was not even plugged in at the time, unexpectedly exploded. This incident led to a major fire in our home, which my grandmother owns, making us homeless.

As many of you know I have autism specturm disorder and global developmental delay and live with my gran and am her full-time carer. Unfortunately, she is currently in the hospital due to smoke inhalation, while I am temporarily staying with friends because our house is uninhabitable.

To make matters worse, our insurance policy does not cover this type of incident due to an exclusion for this specific cause, which has left us in a dire situation.

I have set up a GoFundMe campaign to help us with the immediate expenses and to work towards getting us both back home together, where my gran deserves to be. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be immensely appreciated and would help us get through this challenging time.
