I sit here again, swallowing my pride (just when I thought I had none left) and asking for help.

Since April of last year, I’ve been trying to stay afloat after our 3-month stay at the Children’s Hospital. Before that, my business was on track to bring in over $150,000 in net sales for 2025.. but after that hiatus, things never recovered. The algorithms never picked back up, and the orders stopped coming in.

In November, I went back to waiting tables for a bit to make quick money, but I quickly realized how much I was needed at home. Then in December, we lost our wonderful nurse, and I became a full-time caregiver for Blaise again. By January, we lost Blaise’s Medicaid and MDCP waiver, leaving us with no nursing support, no benefits, and no coverage for meds or therapies. And now, here in February, I’ve hit my breaking point.

I can’t go back to work because of Blaise’s medical needs and schedule. My business is barely surviving. Both of my checking accounts have been negative for over a month.. totaling over $1,100. Every credit card is maxed. My car note is 3 months behind and close to repossession. And my rent remains unpaid and late. I am completely drained.

I hate asking for help, especially knowing how hard things are for everyone right now. But if you’re able and it’s in your heart to do so, any bit of support would mean the world to me.
