hi everyone. Were fundraising for kenz wilkerson, precious kitties (sami and Leo), and jared Munoz who all lived in the apartment building.
We’re asking for donations to help them recover from a fire in their apartment building (on burnside above fifty licks icecream). all of there belongings have smoke damage and the unit is not habitable anymore.
The funds would be used to help them re-buy •clothes •shoes• jackets•socks• hygiene products• cat food and other cat supplies• food• re-homing each of them• furniture• beddings for each of them• medical help as kenz and her cats inhaled a lot of smoke• and other necessities they may need during this difficult time.

personal story from kenz: Friday morning around 7am I was in bed when I heard crackling and popping coming from outside my window, when I looked out the window I saw a fire coming from the bottom, when I went to run into the hallway to warn my neighbors, a cloud of smoke came flooding in. I knocked on everyone’s doors to alert them, 2 people safely evacuated luckily everyone else was at work. I could only grab one of my cats as the other one was so scared she ran to hide. A kind stranger who worked at the coffee shop saw the smoke and came running in to our rescue. I exclaimed I couldn’t find my cat (at this point the smoke was so thick we couldn’t see where we were going) he told me to run outside with the one cat I had and he’d stay and look for my other cat. A few minutes went by and he came running out with my cat. Such a brave kind soul saved us. Everyone came running over to offer support to me and I am so grateful. Thank you to everyone who was there to comfort me. Thank you so much.
