My name is Kenyetta, and I am currently working to pay off a balance from my freshman fall semester at Salisbury University. Because my financial aid did not fully cover my tuition, I was left with a balance that I need to pay before I can re-enroll. This unexpected setback forced me to take the spring semester off, something I never planned or wanted, especially so early in my college journey.

During this time away from school, I have been doing everything I can to work toward my goal of returning to Salisbury University. I am actively working a job and have committed to putting as much as I can from my own paycheck toward the balance. Despite my best efforts, I still cannot do it alone. Finishing college means everything to me, and being forced to pause my education has been incredibly difficult—not only for me, but also for my family, who have supported and believed in me every step of the way.
