Help Kentucky Karana Host Desi Prom!

Hello, my name is Tanisha Garg, and I am the captain of Kentucky Karana, a Bollywood fusion dance team at the University of Kentucky. My treasurer, Naman Rao, and I are raising funds to support our upcoming Desi Prom Event, which aims to host an exciting fusion prom event filled with music, games, dancing, and spread the awareness of our passionate organization to the south asian community and the holistic college.

Due to cuts in funds, our organization is working hard to rebuild and continue hosting events that foster cultural exchange and unity. This particular event is the highlight of the year, and it is open to the public, offering a chance for everyone to experience and appreciate the vibrant traditions and talents of South Asian culture.

Our fundraising goal is $2,000, which will help us cover the catering and decoration costs associated for the event. Your generous support will make a meaningful impact on our efforts to maintain this cultural platform, host one of the biggest cultural events that UK has seen, and celebrate South Asian heritage at UK.
