I am launching this campaign as a parent at Kensington Elementary School. While this is not an official fundraiser organized by the school or district, I felt compelled to act after seeing the impact this has had on our children and teachers.
Over Presidents' Day weekend, several classrooms and areas of the playground at Kensington Elementary School were vandalized. The damage was extensive, forcing students to relocate to alternate classrooms and other spaces while cleanup and rebuilding efforts are underway. This unexpected disruption has made the school year challenging for both students and teachers, leaving many feeling uneasy and unsettled.
The goal is to provide immediate support to help restore their learning environment. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward replacing the furniture, rugs, windows, and many beloved books that were destroyed. By helping to restore these essential items, we can create a safe and welcoming space for students and teachers to return to their familiar classrooms. Your support will make a real difference in helping the school community recover and move forward together.
Please ignore the suggested amounts; any contribution, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated. Our goal is to help the students get back to normal and into their classrooms as soon as possible. Thank you for standing with Kensington Elementary School during this difficult time.
