Hello. We are the owners of Jamerican Eats in Thomasville, Georgia. Kenrick Francis, one of the co-owners, is a Jamaican citizen. His mother and brother, who live in Jamaica, have been affected by the recent storm Melissa, which caused significant damage to their home, including the loss of the roof. The resulting flooding has rendered the property uninhabitable. Additionally, the area is experiencing widespread power outages and disruptions to cellphone coverage. We have been unable to contact Kenrick's mother since Tuesday, when the storm hit. They are currently without alternative accommodations. In response to numerous requests from concerned individuals, we have established this GoFundMe campaign. Our goal is to raise funds to travel to Jamaica and provide support to Kenrick's family and the broader community in rebuilding efforts.
