Update: Thank you for all that have helped my brother. Your help is most appreciated. He is still not able to drive. After having 2 stents put in, his blood pressure is extremely high, and the doctors are trying to figure out the best medicine to help him. I am keeping the GOFund me active a little longer in hopes of giving him some financial help to supplement his social security right now until he can drive again for Uber. I appreciate your prayers for him as well. Thank you!
Hi, I am Patti Muller and my brother needs some help. He would never ask for help. Kenneth (Kenny to many) is 68 years old. He is on social security. To supplement that income, he drives for Uber. About 10 months ago, he was involved in an accident. His car was totaled. The person that hit him had minimal insurance. It took a while to even get a rental car, but that car rovided was not approved by Uber, so Kenneth couldn't drive. He was finally able to get a car to drive for Uber, but it hurt his finances a lot. He got a little behind on bills and paying for other essentials. Kenneth was hospitalized on New Years Day with the flu. While undergoing tests, he was found to have blockages in his arteries. On Jan. 9th he was transferred to Oschner in New Orleans to have the procedure done. He was released from the hospital on Jan 10th. His dog, which is his support animal, had to go to a kennel. This will be an additional expense that he was not expecting. This has obviously caused a lot of additional stress on him, and I'm concerned it may hinder his recovery. If you can help in any small way, it will be much appreciated. May God richly bless you!
