My name is Bonnie Roberts Thompson & this fundraiser is to support my very special, open-hearted, loving nephew, Kenneth Wayne Thompson, to fulfill a dream. Kenny has dedicated his life to supporting others. He is single, in his fifties, and shares his house with his Mom, his sister, her two adult sons & anyone else who needs a place to stay. He helps another sister by taking care of her adult, special needs daughter

(non-communicative, not toilet trained, etc.) on weekends. He is godfather, officially & unofficially, to numerous nieces, nephews, & friends' children.

Kenny is the cook for a daycare, as well as, creative director for all of their events. He also makes costumes & helps prduce productions for a local theater group. Kenny never says no when someone asks for help.

Recently, my special nephew, moved my heart by sharing a "love project" he started. He has been following the blog of a needy family in Fiji, whose parents died when the children were very young. Kenny has been sending messages, care packages & love to this family for two years. He has adopted the two young men & one young lady

in this family as his godchildren. When he talks about "his Fiji family," he is moved to tears.

His greatest bucket list item is to visit his family and hug them in person. He has a place to stay with the family, but needs round trip airfare to make the trip. Since this is a foreign country & Kenny does not know the language, he wants to take his older brother, Carnell and his oldest nephew, Ralph with him.
