The crash left him with multiple injuries: his leg is broken in several places, including the knee and femur, his right forearm is snapped in half, and his left arm has acute nerve damage, which has left it essentially useless for the time being. He now faces months of recovery and will be in a wheelchair for the foreseeable future—likely several months. As an independent plumber, Kenny relies on his physical strength for work, so being unable to walk or use his arm means he can't earn an income during this difficult time. As his closest friend and significant other, I will be his primary caretaker, which will limit my ability to work as well.
