Kenny suffered a major brain bleed, 2 strokes and brain damage in 2018. He was left unable to walk, talk or use his right side. Why this happened will forever be a mystery. Now that the dust has settled and we are learning to live our new normal we must reach out to the kindness of everyone for a favor. Kenny is still young and enjoys spending time with his family but mobility has become a huge issue. He was able to get the insurance to help with an electric wheelchair so he can move around the house on his own. But the chair is not easily transported, it is not weatherproof and it is not made for any kind of bumpy or uneven footing. Kennys doctor has recommended a specific electric scooter for him that will go on gravel, cement or grass. It is built for his stability needs and will support his size and weight properly. Most importantly it comes apart making it much easier to transport in a vehicle and lighter to pick up. During kennys recovery of numerous issues stemming from the strokes, he has suffered great financial losses. His insurance (or any) will not cover another piece of power equipment. Believe me we have tried everything. So this cost is expected to come out of pocket. As you can imagine Kenny is not able to work and requires care and help daily for all of his needs. He is also expected to pay for this out of his pocket. This may be hard to understand how in such a great country but we have investigated deeply for any help available and we have found none. We also found others in kennys situation suffering the same circumstances as him. We are reaching out to you and asking if you could please donate toward this necessary chair for Kenny. Any extra money raised will go toward the few thousand dollars he still owes in hospital bills and others with the same needs as Kenny. Kenny has helped so many people out in his lifetime let’s pay it forward to him now. Thank you to all of you. We appreciate your support and prayers for Kenny.
