Help Kenneth Cecil after Covid-19

Greetings,

Please help me provide support for my Dad, Ken Cecil. 

Since 20 December 2020, he has been in the hospital battling Covid-19 .He has been through so much since then.  Upon arrival, he was immediately put in ICU. Eight days later, his breathing became so bad he was put on a ventilator. While on the ventilator, his right lung suddenly collapsed. A chest tube was put in to prevent him from going into distress. After 18 days, he was finally taken off the ventilator and seemed to be doing better when his left lung collapsed. A chest tube was put in on the left side. Even with the chest tubes to help him, his lungs continued to collapse. 


Once the chest tubes were removed, the doctors started talking to us about getting Dad into an in house rehabilitation facility so he could regain his energy and strength.  This has now been placed on hold. On 18 February 2021, his left lung collapsed again. Another chest tube had to be placed.


Today, my Dad started struggling to breath again. It was found that the chest tube they had just placed on his left side was not working properly, so they placed a second chest tube on the same side. The lung doctor told my stepmom and I that, based on the CT scan, his lungs have been severely damaged by Covid-19. and the constant lung collapses.  They have mentioned the possibility of a lung transplant. 


Any money donated will be used to help pay for Dad's hospital bills, and, if necessary, his lung transplant.
