Help Kenneth's Loved Ones Through Tragedy

Hi everyone, my name is Malissa. Last week, my family was involved in a major vehicle accident on I-5. This accident unfortunately claimed the life of Kenneth Whelchel.

Kenneth was only 31 years old. He was driving home from work when he came upon an accident he couldn't avoid, which caused him to lose his life.

Kenneth was in a relationship with the love of his life, Shawna, and was helping to raise her four children. While not biologically Kenneth's kids, he loved them just the same. Now, they and their mother are left picking up the pieces of a life gone too soon.

Kenneth was born to his mother, Tracy Whelchel, and his father, Robert Everson. He had an older brother, also named Robert, and two younger siblings. He loved the outdoors and spent the majority of his time there. He made friends wherever he went and would give you the shirt off his back and his last dollar if you needed it.

Unexpected death is hard, and Kenneth's family is no different. They are trying to grieve while unexpected finances are building up.

Please join me in helping to take some of the financial burden off his family by donating. All money will be spent on his funeral and last expenses. Any additional money will be given to Shawna, as Kenneth was the breadwinner of their family, and his mother Tracy.

A small, private funeral is being held for family and close friends on Tuesday, August 27th. It will be followed by a hike to one of Kenneth's beloved spots. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the family.
