Help Kenneth Kick Cancer
Donation protected

Heather is a superwoman and a single mother of three. Kenneth is Heather’s amazing son and big brother to Aliya (10) and Brinley (4). He is a soccer player, a baseball player, caring, funny, smart, and most importantly, a great friend to many. Kenneth has the ability to make everyone around him feel comfortable and at ease. We also know Kenneth as the one who always thinks of others before himself. He dropped off care packages for our daughter just to keep her spirits up while we were all inside during COVID. Yes, Kenneth is the one always making sure everyone is fine, particularly two little sisters who think the world of their big brother.
As briefly mentioned earlier, after approximately 2 years of repeated doctor’s appointments and seeking answers, on October 4, 2021, Heather received the news no parent wants to hear, Kenneth has cancer, and it is Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma to be exact. As you can imagine, this news rocked everyone’s world.
Thankfully, Kenneth’s new doctors at UNM Cancer Center are moving quickly. He will have another short surgery to get a port placed next week that will serve as a port for chemotherapy and ongoing blood work. Next comes a short hospital stay and several rounds of outpatient chemotherapy that will stretch out over the next several months. Doctors have noted with this particular cancer, early detection and treatment is key to survival and longevity and fortunately, Kenneth’s cancer is in the first stage (great news!). The prognosis for this rare Hodgkin Lymphoma is incredibly successful with treatment, which brings immense comfort to the family.
Kenneth remains upbeat and is determined to beat this cancer, period. Nonetheless, these upcoming months are going to be very difficult for Kenneth and his family mentally, physically, and financially. And this is where they will need our help and this is how you can support Kenneth and his family with expenses going forward.
As we all know healthcare costs are very expensive especially when it comes to cancer and treatment. We are starting this go-fund-me page to help relieve some financial burden as they trek through this uncertain, and difficult period of their lives. This is our way of letting Kenneth and his family know Kenneth has an extended team watching him score a homerun or goal, by kicking cancer.
Thank you in advance for any support you can provide and please feel free to share this link and information with others or businesses that can help Kenneth and his family. Please remember to also keep Kenneth, Heather, Aliya, and Brinley in your thoughts and prayers. #TeamKenneth
