I am starting this fundraiser because I am in need of a car. Not having reliable transportation has made it really hard for me to do the things that matter most—like looking for a job, seeing my daughter as often as I want, and helping my grandmother get to her appointments or to the store for her shopping. A used car that doesn’t need a lot of work would make a huge difference in my life and help me do what I need to do without worrying about how I’ll get there.

Having a car would truly change my life. I wouldn’t have to worry about transportation anymore. I could see my daughter more often, take her to school, and even take her out to places. I could also take my grandmother wherever she needs to go, which would take a lot of pressure off my mother. When I get a good job, I’ll be able to get to work on time and make it to interviews without any problems. This support would help me feel more secure, independent, and connected to my loved ones.
