Help Kenneth and Aseer Overcome Unforeseen Hardship

Hi, my name is Heather and I am fundraising for my best friend Kenneth and his wonderful companion Aseer. I thank you sincerely in advance for any contribution you are willing and able to make.

We are seeking help for our dear friend Kenny who recently fell on hard times as a result of a bad car accident that occurred on May 3rd 2024. Both Kenny and his young Australian Cattle dog Aseer sustained neck and back injuries after being rear ended at 45mph by an uninsured driver in San Diego County. Kenny’s newly leased vehicle was totaled on impact, therefore he has been out of work for the entire month of May as his primary source of income for the past ten years has steadily been Uber and Lyft. Prior to learning that the driver who hit him was uninsured, Kenny understandably sought legal guidance, and in doing so was advised to see a chiropractor for his neck and back injuries. In addition to this, Kenny rightfully took his dog to the vet immediately where he was x-rayed and prescribed pain and anti-inflammatory medications to treat visible swelling and bruising caused by the collision. Kenny was assured that the trailing driver’s insurance would cover any and all necessary expenses to help him and his dog return to good health, both physically and financially. Truthfully, all he hoped for was enough to cover his vehicle damage, minimal medical expenses, and legal fees. Today after spending several hours following up on the status of the insurance claims, Kenny learned that the trailing driver has been uninsured since June 2023, therefore Kenny will only be receiving less than half of what he owes on his vehicle from his personal insurance payout. Unfortunately, this simply is not enough. In total, Kenny owes $15,000.00 on his vehicle, legal fees, chiropractic and veterinary expenses, and rent. This does not include what he needs to purchase another operable vehicle in order to return to work and provide for himself and his dog. He needs our help. As an avid member of his community, Kenny has always been known to help anyone in need in any way he can. As one of his longest friends, I can attest to the wonderful person Kenneth is. He is a friend to all, and truly is universally loved by his community. He has been on his own since his late teens and has never had any hand-outs, so I am taking it upon myself to ask for your help on his behalf. He deserves it, and his dog deserves it. We ask that you please spread the word to family and friends, as we hope to raise at least $10,000.00 to help contribute toward the rebuilding of Kenny’s life. Needless to say, he has sadly fallen victim to something completely out of his control and we need to help keep a roof over his and Aseer’s head.
