Hi, we’re Matthew, Stevie and Kennedy and we’re raising funds to help Kennedy attend the 2025 National Gymnastics Championships in Queensland.

Kennedy began training with the Gymnastics South Australia High Performance Trampoline program in 2023 and instantly fell in love with the sport.

Over the past two years, he has shown incredible dedication by attending training regularly, learning new skills, and working through personal challenges, especially around confidence and performing in front of others. Through gymnastics, Kennedy has not only developed physically but also gained important life lessons: the mental health benefits of movement, the value of teamwork and friendship, how to be brave and try new things, and the resilience to keep going even when things don’t go to plan.

Last weekend, all his hard work paid off when he won the South Australian State Championships for his level and qualified for the 2025 National Championships, taking place this July in Queensland.

We’re so proud of Kennedy and support him 100 percent, but with travel, accommodation, equipment, and other expenses, it’s a big financial stretch for our family.

Alongside Kennedy’s personal fundraising efforts like selling chocolates and more, we’re reaching out to our community for help. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping Kennedy chase his dreams and experience something truly special.

If there’s any leftover money after this competition, we will donate it to his team to support other young athletes on their journey too.
