On June 28th, 2025, our world was turned upside down. My wife, Kennedy Tucker, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia — a rare and aggressive form of cancer, especially uncommon for someone her age.
Kennedy is not just my wife — she’s the loving mother of our 7 soon to be 8month-old son, Sterling, who has been by her side every single day since birth. He co-sleeps with us, breastfeeds, and has never known a day without his mama. Watching them be separated in this way has been emotionally devastating for all of us.
We are currently facing this battle without health insurance. The hospital bills, added costs of childcare, transportation, and basic needs for Sterling are only growing. Kennedy’s treatment plan will be intensive and long, and we want to ensure she can focus on healing — not financial stress.
I was set to begin my job as a firefighter with MCESD#9 on July 7th — But right now, my priority is to be by my wife’s side and care for our son. That decision comes with financial sacrifice, but it’s one we feel in our hearts is right.
We don’t have a specific fundraising goal. Any help — no matter the amount — will go toward Kennedy’s treatment, Sterling’s care, and allowing us to keep our small family together through this unimaginable time.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this and keeping Kennedy in your thoughts and prayers.
With love and gratitude,
Camden, Kennedy & Baby Sterling
