At just 34 years old, Kam Coon, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend, passed away after a courageous 15-month battle with colon cancer.
Kam leaves behind his incredible wife, Kenna, and their sweet 3-year-old daughter, Raelynn. Over the past year, their family poured everything they had into fighting this disease. Now, while navigating unimaginable grief, Kenna is also facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical debt, funeral expenses, and the reality of raising their daughter on a single income while covering new childcare costs.
As if this heartbreak wasn’t enough, Raelynn has also tested positive for Li-Fraumeni Syndrome, the genetic mutation that caused Kam’s cancer. Because of this, she will require lifelong cancer monitoring, including annual full-body MRIs and brain MRIs. At her young age, these procedures will require sedation and ongoing specialized medical care. Children with Li-Fraumeni face a 50% chance of developing cancer before age 30 and up to a 90% chance by age 60.
No family should have to face this much at once.
We are coming together as a community to support Kenna and Raelynn during this incredibly difficult time and help ease the overwhelming financial burden they now face.
If you are able, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser so we can surround this family with the love and support they need right now. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
