Many of you may have seen my post about my sweet 12 yr old niece and her surgery earlier this month. They removed a tumor the size of a volleyball from her abdomen. In 2019, Kenley was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma in her sinus. She has been off treatment for 4 years. About 2 months ago she lost her appetite and some weight as well as having some back pain. They found a large mass on a CT scan. Last week her parents David and Olivia were given the news that no parent wants to hear. This new mass on her ovary is a metastasis from her original cancer. In fact they believe she may be the only person in the world (let alone a child) who had a rhabdo in the head spread to a reproductive organ. She has a long road ahead with high dose chemo. David and Olivia are still digging out from the previous medical debt. Please help me lighten their load.
