Help Kenji and Caitlin Through This Difficult Time

As many of you may know, Christopher was battling Epithelioid Pleomorphic Liposarcoma for the past couple of years. In recent months, the cancer had spread to his lungs. Unfortunately, the cancer’s rapid growth took an enormous toll on his body, resulting in the sudden need for life support intervention on the morning of July 16th. It is with immense sadness that we share the news that Christopher passed around 1:15am on July 17th, 2024. He was surrounded by his loved ones and transitioned peacefully.

Christopher’s number one goal throughout his illness was to make sure his son, Kenji, and partner, Caitlin, were going to be okay once he was no longer with them. This fundraiser has been created as a way for all of us to assist with Christopher’s wonderful intentions. Caitlin has spent a majority of the last two years on leave from work to be Christopher’s full-time caretaker. During that time, they also welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Kenji, into the world. Though she will soon be returning to work from her maternity/caregiver leave, Christopher had been the primary provider for their family, so there will be a period of financial stress while his estate gets finalized and his goal is realized.

Additionally, Caitlin along with Christopher’s mother and family will be organizing a special memorial to celebrate just how LEGENDARY his life was.
