Hi, my name is Shannon Gunn and I’m the proud parent of an amazing 15-year-old girl, Keniyah Fister,who has been bravely fighting Sickle Cell Disease since birth.

Every day, she wakes up with a strength that inspires everyone around her. But the reality is, Sickle Cell is a constant battle — the pain crises, the hospital stays, the transfusions — they’ve become part of her childhood when she should be focused on school, friends, and dreaming big for her future.

Now, we finally have hope. Her doctors have found a bone marrow transplant match — a chance to give her the healthy life she deserves. But as you can imagine, the costs are overwhelming:

• Hospital and transplant procedures

• Medications and recovery care

• Travel and lodging during her treatment

• Time away from work so I can be by her side every step of the way

We are setting a goal of $55000 to cover these critical expenses, and every donation, no matter how small, will get us one step closer to giving Keniyah the gift of a pain-free future.

Keniyah is currently taking up in school a nursing program. she inspires to be a pediatric sickle cell doctor to help others in need with the same condition, she was born with and also due to the experience an love for children she has.
