My sister Kenia is currently in a detention facility, and our family is facing one of the hardest moments we have ever experienced. Kenia has always been the sole provider for her young daughter, who is now with us and in need of support while her mother is away. The uncertainty and fear of possible deportation have left us feeling overwhelmed, but we are determined to do everything we can to keep our family together.

We are raising funds to help cover Kenia’s legal fees so she can have a fair chance to fight her case and avoid deportation. In addition, the money will help provide for her daughter’s living expenses during this difficult time. Our family is doing everything we can, but the costs are more than we can manage alone.
