On May 23, my cousin, Kendra’s life was changed forever. She received a phone call that her apartment was on fire. Upon returning home, Kendra had lost everything. Furniture, clothes, shoes and her puppy all were destroyed in this fire. Kendra did not have renters insurance and is having to rebuild her life from nothing.
