Kendra Stevenson is my best friend, and she’s always been the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. Last week, Kendra was in a car accident with her grandchild and her two youngest children, which totaled her only vehicle. As if that wasn’t enough, just yesterday, she and her children lost their home and all their belongings in a house fire. The fire was extinguished but rekindled, and the home is now a total loss. It’s hard to imagine facing so much hardship in such a short time, but Kendra has shown incredible strength for her family.

Right now, Kendra and her children are starting from scratch. The funds raised here will help them rebuild their lives—finding a safe place to stay, replacing essential belongings, and getting rides to appointments and school when there isn’t a vehicle to borrow. With two children still living at home, including one with special needs, the challenges are even greater. Kendra has always been there for others, and now she needs our help more than ever.
