My sister, Kendra Ritter, has been the heart of our family since our Mom passed away in 2008. She instantly became the matriarch of our family, and took on a 'motherly' role to me at the age of 14.

Most importantly, she has selflessly cared for our Dad for years through his health struggles, and always took care of his every need. She wasn't just his daughter...she was his caretaker and companion...and his guardian angel.

My sister is always stepping up to help her family, friends, and even complete strangers in need. Kendra is known to many for her huge heart and generosity.

After years of devotion, particularly to our Dad, she now faces an uncertain future with our Dad's passing on January 10, 2026. With her limited income from SSDI, she can no longer afford the apartment they shared, and the upcoming rent deadline of February 1, 2026 adds to her stress.

My sister is not someone who often asks for help, but now she needs us. The funds raised will assist with moving expenses, security deposit, and rent (current rent until she moves, first and last month's rent in a more affordable place, etc.) to help her find a new home where she feels safe and supported.
