Help Kendall Study and Perform in Austria!

Hi, my name is Kendall, and I'm a sophomore vocal major at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts. Since my first solo performance in the 3rd grade, I have always wanted to perform music on stage! Some of my musical achievements I'm most proud of include:

In addition to these performances, I've been performing instrumental and vocal music since the 4th grade with several trips to All-County and All-State Festivals.

 

Through these performances, my passion for vocal music has grown stronger. I'm especially proud of the progress I've made in classical vocal performance. My hardwork has led to my being offered an opportunity to study and perform abroad this summer!

 

The Austria Summer Music Festival is an 18 day program that offers young musicians the opportunity to learn from professionals and educators from around the world, including faculty from Vienna Staatsoper, Vienna Sympohniker, Vienna Philharmonic, and regional master musicians. While attending this program, I will have the opportunity to study and perform with these great musicians.

 

Although I've been offered this amazing opportunity and a partial scholarship, I'm trying to raise funds to cover the remaining cost of tuition and airfare. I would appreciate any help to make my dream a reality! If you send me your address, I'll be happy to send you a postcard from Austria. :)
