Our family is in desperate need of your help! This fundraiser is for Kenan Solomon our cousin who is a really special young man with a heart of gold and is beloved by all of his family and friends. He is currently in prison in Saudi Arabia serving time for being involved in a fight amongst his friends that he tried to break up.
Kenan was born in Saudi Arabia and has lived there along with his parents as legal residents of the country. He was planning the direction of his life when an absolutely terrible thing happened to him a little over a year and 5 months ago. The day started as a typical day where Kenan was hanging out with 3 of his friends. One of the boys accused the other for stealing his money which led to a fight breaking out. During the fight Kenan tried to stop the boys from fighting and get the group to discuss the situation in a civil matter. This did not happen sadly as
two other boys injured one of them causing him to break his arm. The police arrested all of the kids for fighting but the three kids who were Saudi citizens were able to get out of prison and escape sentencing. Unfortunately for Kenan that was not the case. He was immediately sentenced to prison for 4 years in addition to a $30,000 fine.
We need your help right now so that we can get Kenan out of prison after he has served his time and go back to his family where he belongs. The only way Kenan is able to be released from prison is after he has served 4 years and paid $30,000 fine. This has been a difficult year for everyone as COVID has negatively impacted our lives in one way or another but I would urge you to please consider supporting this cause to get this innocent bystander who is being prosecuted for something he did not do out of prison. Once released, Kenan can continue
