Help Ken Tweedale on His Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Ken Tweedale, a 68-year-old hard-working man, has spent most of his life providing for his family. For the past five years, Ken has been managing his diabetes well, living a healthy life. However, in August, things took a turn for the worse. What started as a callus on his left big toe became a battle against infection. Despite his best efforts, Ken's condition worsened, and after 9 weeks of fighting, he had to have both his big toe and part of his foot amputated.
After 5 long weeks in hospital, having 5 operations, returning home from the hospital, Ken faced another setback—another infection. This has been the cruel reality of living with diabetes. Ken has been back in the hospital for three weeks, only to lose another toe. He’s still not out of the woods, and his recovery will be long and difficult.
Ken’s wife of 46 years has been by his side through this challenging journey, supporting him as he faces this new chapter in his life. With the uncertainty of when Ken will be able to return to work, his family needs your help.
We are setting up this GoFundMe to provide Ken and his family with financial support during his recovery. The road ahead is tough, but with your help, Ken can focus on getting better without the added worry of financial stress.
Please consider donating and supporting Ken on his long journey to recovery. Every little bit helps, and we truly appreciate your kindness and generosity.
Thank you for standing with Ken and his family during this challenging time.
