Help Ken Snow get back on his feet
Donation protected
My dear friend, fellow alum, and colleague, Ken Snow, fell 14 feet from his rooftop three weeks ago while making a repair. He had surgery for a broken pelvis and spent two weeks in a rehab facility. He was released from rehab on July 26th, because that is all that Medicare will cover. He is only able to walk with a walker, and will continue to receive rehabilitation at home. He has a home health care worker and a physical therapist who visit regularly. But, being self-employed, he has already lost 3 weeks of work and will be unable to work for several more months.
I'm starting this gofundme page to help Ken out with his monthly expenses--mortgage, utilities, wi-fi, food--while he is unable to work. Many of us media folk have been self-employed or worked freelance for much of our careers. We understand how devastating it would be to be unemployed for 3 to 4 months. This gofundme page seems like the best way to have our community and friends help Ken until he is back on his feet. I know he will be grateful for any contribution you can make, as will I. With kindest regards, Linda Thornburg, (OSU, Photo & Cinema, 1975).
