Support for Ken Kops – A Fellow Small Business Owner and Friend in Need

We’re reaching out today with heavy hearts but strong hope.

Our friend and fellow small business owner Ken Kops recently suffered both a stroke and a brain aneurysm. Thanks to the quick actions of those on a Zoom call with him—including his brother Jim, Amanda Elliott, and Kirk Vickers—we were able to get emergency help to him immediately. Ken has already undergone brain surgery to address the aneurysm and is currently in the ICU at Providence Hospital in Novi, MI, beginning the long road to recovery.

Ken's wife, Rania, travels for work, and most of their immediate family lives out of state. The emotional and financial toll of this crisis is significant. Kirk Vickers and I are co-sponsoring this GoFundMe to help ease the burden on Ken and Rania during this time.

Donations will help cover:

1. Unanticipated medical expenses not covered by insurance

2. Travel and lodging for out-of-state family as they come to support

3. Time off work for both Ken and Rania during recovery and rehabilitation

4. Any other short-term living expenses that arise while Ken heals

If Ken's recovery exceeds expectations (and we believe it will!), and there are unused funds remaining, 100% of those funds will be donated to Bell Creek Community Church in Livonia, a place dear to Ken and Rania.

We are praying boldly for full healing and restoration in Jesus’ name—and we thank you for lifting them up in prayer and support with us.
