update on our father: Dad peacefully passed away by our mothers side at St. Luke’s Hospice in Bethlehem.

Hi, my names Keri, I’m Ken Simon’s daughter. I’m putting this gofund me together to ease the pressures of everyday expenses for my father & mother while my father is fighting for his life.

As many of you know, my father, Ken Simon is a man of many trades. He’s a husband, son, dad, papa, friend & best of all a Fighter. If you know my father you know he is one to never sit down, he’s always on the go & the hardest worker. Usually you’ll see Ken at one of his grandchildren’s sports games cheering them on, mowing his grass for the 100th time to make sure it’s perfect or ordering a quart size ice cream to eat in one sitting. Ken is a hardworker & family man who is always involved being with his grandchildren, kids & wife. He lives life to the fullest & is always there when needed.

Now Ken needs us more than ever right now.

These past 2 years have been a lot on my father & mother. This past week he was admitted into the hospital where they found bleeding on the brain. They took my father into surgery to drain the brain but the surgery wasn’t successful due to his blood pressure going high and creating a hemorrhage now in his brain. He then underwent another surgery that same day to relieve the swelling on the brain. Once he came out of this surgery the real fighting begins. My father is now on a ventilator fighting for his life & we are praying he wakes up from this. He will have a very longggg and intense recovery when he wakes up. My mother and family are by his side every step of the way praying & fighting with him.

We are asking, as his 3 children to help take the burden off our mother and father financially to help focus on his health at this time.

We want to get dad back to seeing his 7 grandchildren who miss him very much.
