Hi my name is Ami , Ken Dryers niece , who is my mom’s brother . We’re all completely devastated such an amazing Uncle, brother , father and friend left us so early . I’m starting this fundraiser for his 2 sons to finish the end process of death of their father . He was a hard worker who ran his own small business but in the end he didn’t have much to leave behind . There are no other funds to exhaust at this time . We met with the funeral home and a regular funeral and burial is too much to carry financially unfortunately… the end result is cremation of Ken Dryer and just a basic headstone we can lay to rest by his parents and other family members in the midland cemetery. Everything is sort of at a standstill to keep moving with the process and the gathering (memorial ) for Ken Dryer as his sons have no funds to give . Super sad situation to deal with this on top of the unexpected death … which Ken was sick with cancer but was doing well , no pain , spirits were great , just staying the same heal wise , but the one night his heart just gave out … prob too much to carry from what his body was going thru . We plan to do a family and friends gathering for Ken Dryers life but we need to get these other expenses in order first . I did tell Jordan, his son I would help them in some way to lift this financial burden at this sad time . He was so very appreciative as he’s just lost without his dad so is Kyle … and just going thru grieving right now . So anything helps ! Every dime matters ! I’m not familiar with this process so I’m going to set up Venmo thru me so I can set up an account for his sons and I will distribute it to the funeral home and also for the stone . I can also add a mailing address for any cash or checks if anyone was more comfortable with that or doesn’t have Venmo . Thanku everyone from the bottom of our hearts .
