Our friend Ken Kruse, known to so many of us as “Frankly" singing, was recently and suddenly diagnosed with esophageal adenocarcinoma. This life-altering diagnosis has turned his world upside down.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, Ken does not have health insurance, and the cost of critical testing and treatment is overwhelming. Right now, he urgently needs a PET scan to determine whether the cancer has spread. Without insurance, this essential test is simply not accessible where he currently lives in Burnet.
Ken has spent years bringing joy to our community through music—entertaining us at Reale’s, Tony & Luigi’s, Luigi’s, Amici, Bellissima, Salerno, Fire in the Hole, Bashaw’s, and many other venues. Music has always been his livelihood and his gift to all of us. Now, as he faces the biggest challenge of his life, he needs that same community to rally around him.
This is our chance to give back to someone who has given us so much. Every contribution—no matter the size—helps bring Ken closer to the care he needs and the chance to get back on his feet and live life again.
Please consider donating, sharing, and keeping Ken in your thoughts and prayers.
Together, we can help him through this journey. ❤️
