Support Kelsy: Young Mom Battling Melanoma

We are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Kelsy Houseman, a devoted stay-at-home mom to three young children—ages 5, 4, and 1—who has recently received the devastating news of a metastatic melanoma diagnosis at just 33 years old.

This diagnosis has come as a complete shock. Kelsy has always been proactive about her health, attending annual skin checks—including one just last week that appeared normal. The melanoma was only discovered after Kelsy found a lump under her arm, which led to a biopsy confirming the heartbreaking news.

Kelsy is a former nurse who now stays home with her children, and her husband is a self employed nurse anesthetist. Because of their limited health insurance coverage, their out-of-pocket expenses for consultations, treatments, and potential surgeries are extremely high. They need an initial deposit of $30,000 just to meet with Moffitt specialists. Their priority is to ensure that Kelsy receives the best care possible.
