Help Kelsey's Family Through This Tragic Loss

It is with the deepest sorrow and an unimaginable heaviness that we share that our beloved Kelsey Graham passed away unexpectedly on 11/26/25 after her long, brave battle with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Kelsey was diagnosed in June of 2023, and from that day forward she fought with a strength, grace, and determination that left all of us in awe. Even on the hardest days—days when the pain was overwhelming or the treatments were exhausting—she carried herself with a smile, with hope, and with a light that never dimmed.

Anyone who had the blessing of knowing Kelsey knew she had a heart unlike any other. She was endlessly creative, always breathing life into whatever she touched. Photography, poetry, drawing, painting, ceramics—she expressed herself through so many beautiful forms of art. Creating was her way of understanding the world, of finding beauty even in the darkest places. But as much as she loved her art, nothing compared to the love she had for her children.

Kelsey valued motherhood above all else. Being a mom was her greatest joy, her proudest role, and her deepest purpose. She adored her babies, Joralane (4) and Jude (3), with every ounce of her being. They were her world—her reason to fight, her reason to smile, her reason to get up each day and keep going despite everything she faced. She poured her entire heart into them, and she never stopped worrying about their future, their happiness, and their safety. To watch her with her children was to witness pure love. To her, there was nothing more important.

To me, she was my sister—my one of three—my confidant, my safe place, the person I could go to without fear of judgment. She was someone I could talk to about God, about faith, about the questions that are too heavy to share with most people. She listened with compassion and gave love in a way that made you feel held and understood. She was an extraordinary mother, daughter, sister, fiancée, and friend. Losing her leaves a hole that words can’t possibly fill.

Kelsey leaves behind her devoted fiancé, Javonte, who loved her unconditionally and stood by her through every moment of her illness, as well as their two precious children. As we grieve her loss, our hearts break most for them. They have lost the most important person in their lives—their guiding light, their protector, their comfort, their mother.
In this moment of overwhelming grief, we are hoping to come together to support Javonte and the kids as they face a future forever changed. We are raising funds to help them with daily expenses, child care, education, and anything they may need in the months and years ahead. Every dollar given will go directly toward helping provide stability, security, and comfort for Kelsey’s children—something she wanted more than anything.

If you are able to donate and/or share we are deeply grateful. We ask to keep this family in your prayers. Thank you for taking the time to read Kelsey’s story, for honoring her memory, and for helping carry her children through the unimaginable grief of losing their mother.

Kelsey loved fiercely and she was loved deeply. We will carry her with us everyday.

For all interested- Kelsey Graham’s service will be held Wednesday 12/3/25 from 10am-12pm at Mulligans Funeral home (331 Cleveland Ave, Harrison NJ 07029). If anyone would like to speak/share something about kelsey during the service they are more than welcome to. At 1pm everyone will proceed to Arlington Cemetery in Kearny NJ.
