Help Kelsey Recover from His Accident

Donation protected
My name is Kyle Hepp. I'm Kelsey Hepp's sister. As many of you may already know, my brother was in a horrific accident at work. He's an electrician and was severely fireballed (burned to a literal crisp) while working on an old 60s breaker panel.

He was just released from the trauma unit at the hospital, and now that he's home, we are trying to purchase all of the things for his day-to-day needs as he recovers. He can't use his hands much, so we got him a bidet. He needs to keep his arms elevated, so we got him a recliner to allow him to sit comfortably. Depending on whether or not he can sleep in the recliner, we may need to rent him a hospital bed to sleep in. Cooking will be hard, if not impossible, for him so it would be nice for him to be able to order food and/or have groceries delivered. He's still in a ton of pain, but we are trying to support him and make his recovery as smooth sailing as possible.

If you know my brother, you know he's strong. We expect him to hopefully regain mobility in both hands and arms. He has a long road ahead of him, but we are just so so happy he's alive. It could've been much worse, and even though what happened to him was terrible, everything that could've gone right in the accident went right.

Kelsey goes out of his way to help others in every way possible. He's given me his last dollar to help me when I've needed it. That's something he's done for many people. He is a sweet and generous, gentle giant - the kind of person people describe as being someone who would "give the shirt off his back to a stranger." He has helped friends and strangers with his electrical skills on weekends and often refuses pay when he knows people can't afford it. He does this in his spare time, even though he works grueling early morning hours doing heavy-duty, exhausting physical labor during the week. My hope is that he feels lifted up by his village right now.

We love Kelsey so much and want him to be able to pay for the things he needs to be comfortable and recover without worrying too much about money and when he will be able to get back to work. If you can't afford to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser or leaving an encouraging comment. If you can afford to throw a few dollars his way, I know he will appreciate it so much. My brother is not a man of many words, so I will thank you for him - thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting him during this rough time! Much love.
