Hi my name is Gabby and I’m organising this fundraiser on behalf of my best friend Kelsey, a loving mother of two beautiful daughters ( ages 14 and 9), who has been fighting the battle of her life.

In May, Kelsey's life changed forever when she was suddenly and unexpectedly struck with sepsis and complications that required extensive treatment. What started as a medical emergency turned into months long fight for survival. She was admitted to the icu, where she remained for nearly 4 months in critical condition on life support.

After enduring numerous procedures, setbacks, and unimaginable pain, Kelsey has shown incredible strength and resilience. She is still in hospital today many months later and is now preparing for the next phase of her recovery. She will soon be transferred to a rehabilitation hospital, where she’ll continue building her strength and mobility. Despite everything Kelsey's spirit remains strong, her biggest motivation is to get back home to her daughters who miss their mum more than words can say. They need her, and she’s doing everything she can to get back to them and her loving fiancé Sean who has been by her side every step of the way along with her beautiful Family

This fundraiser is to help support Kelsey and her family during this healing process. Donations will go toward:

• Ongoing medical care and rehabilitation

• Helping Kelsey transition back home to her daughters

Every donation, no matter the size, brings Kelsey one step closer to a full recovery and reuniting with her girls. Kelsey is determined to continue her recovery so she can be the strong, present mum her daughters know and love.
