I believe most are familiar with my story but if not, here it is. My name is Kelsey McFarlane and I reside in Moorhead, MN and work at Hawk's Market in Kindred, ND. I met and fell in love with Kindred area's own Josh Stigman in June of 2024 and soon after, we were engaged to be married. Unfortunately, tragedy hit and Josh passed away on November 1st, 2025. Josh and I had every part of our lives intertwined including ride sharing, where we work, and our finances. Since his death, I have struggled to keep up and maintain the financial standing we had before.

The part that I am asking for help for is utilities in the house that I live in with my mom in Moorhead. Since I reached the age of adulthood, the utilities have been my responsibility as a way of rent. I had fallen behind due to months of unemployment and was still unable to catch up despite working and Josh's help.

It seems I have exhausted all the charity resources that are available to me, be it my church or energy assistance. I have attached the bills so that you can see that the need is dire as I have been given cut off notices. We have two accounts with Moorhead Public Service as we have two zones in the house.

I am pleading for help and swallowing my pride on this. Thank you for your consideration.
