Help Kelsey get her kids back!

Hello friends and family,

I am organizing this initiative to help my dear friend, Kelsey, get her children back. Her children, 3 girls and a boy (who is autistic, and very dependent on/attached to his mother), ranging from ages 6 years to 15 years were taken from her custody, under duress, by the police on Friday afternoon, July 28, 2023. The kids had not seen their father in 8 months due to an abusive situation where he lost unsupervised parenting time. There is also an order of protection in place where he isn't to be within a specific distance of Kelsey, because of how dangerous he has been to her.

Kelsey had filed an order of intent to relocate with the court because she had an opportunity in Atlanta open up to her and she was going to see if she would be granted the relocation request. Instead of her ex responding to the intent to relocate, he went to the court and filed an emergency order for temporary custody accusing her of a myriad of falshoods, including her being a "Flight Risk". She has not been able to see or even talk to her children in 10 days.

My goal is to raise $25,000 for Kelsey to be able to have the money to retain an attorney and to have the funds to be able to pay the fees necessary without her getting dragged into deep debt through the process.

Kelsey left an extremely abusive marriage in 2016 and since that time has been subjected to 6 years of "Lawfare" and continued abuse and threats by her ex to take the kids from her. Due to this, her resources have been drained and she needs some help.
