One of our home town girls has just been diagnosed with cancer. Her family is torn to pieces trying to understand the diagnosis and at the same time be strong around her and her children. Yes, her children are crying, this is their mother and they are scared. Everyone is trying to do what they can but it has been an emotional roller coaster for them all. Everyone is doing all they can to figure out what to do next and Kelsey is trying to figure how to pay her bills. We all know stress and cancer is a very bad combination. Cancer does not just riddle the body but it causes emotional strain that breaks the heart. When a mother’s worst fear is being sick and not able to care for her children actually starts unfolding before her eyes and she hears her own children crying because they are scared... it triggers a panic that only a person in this place called ‘you have cancer’ can understand. It’s a devastation that kicks the breath right out of you. So you are not only left fighting a devastating disease but also dealing with a fear that is impossible to explain.
Kelsey is a devoted mother who adores her children... She is a fighter. Prayers are greatly appreciated right now during this difficult time. She will be off work for a while. She has stage 2 Cervical Cancer with it spreading to other areas.. This is set up to help her and her family with monthly bills and medical expenses. Please donate if you can to help this family.
